January 23 - Gurrie Remote Day
Hello Gurrie Families,
Based on Dr. Ganan’s ParentSquare announcement, District 105 schools, including Gurrie, will have a remote learning day tomorrow, January 23, 2026. All students are expected to log in and participate in their classes through Google Meet using the links found in each teacher’s Google Classroom.
Students will begin the day by joining their advisory Google Meet at 9:15 a.m. Advisory time will be used to review the day’s expectations, answer questions, and help students get ready to learn. Tomorrow will follow a Gold Day schedule, which includes periods 1 through 5. Each class period will be 55 minutes, with a 5-minute break between classes to allow students time to transition, take a short movement break, and prepare for the next class. The fifth period will be a Flex period. During this time, teachers will be available to support students who may need additional help. Students are welcome to join any of their teachers’ Google Meet links during this period for extra support, questions, or clarification.
Below is the Gold Day class schedule with start and end times for each period. Thank you for your partnership and flexibility. Our Tigers know the routine, and we appreciate your support in helping them stay engaged, ask for help when needed, and continue learning from home.
